Arabic and RTL notes
Mirrors
- The tab column stands on the right, and every label and option row starts on the right.
- The option rows read right to left: Gregorian first, on the right.
Does not mirror
- Each language is written in its own language: English stays English in the Arabic screen.
- Currency codes and offsets such as GMT+3 stay left to right as written.
- Numerals
- The numerals choice always shows both samples, 123 and ١٢٣, and the date and amount previews switch with it before saving. It is separate from the language: many Arabic readers prefer Western digits.
- Mixed-direction text
- The Hijri date comes from the Umm al-Qura calendar in the browser (Intl), with its month names.
