Using shadcn instead

The registry is shadcn-compatible: register @ritla in components.json with your license key header and add components with the shadcn CLI.

The Ritla registry is shadcn-compatible, so the shadcn CLI, v0, Lovable and agents that already speak shadcn can install Ritla UI too. npx ritla add is the main path (Installation); this is the alternative for projects that already run on shadcn.

Register the namespace#

Add the registry to components.json, with the key read from the environment:

json
{
  "registries": {
    "@ritla": {
      "url": "https://ritla.app/r/{name}.json",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer ${RITLA_LICENSE_KEY}" }
    }
  }
}

Put RITLA_LICENSE_KEY in .env.local. Never paste the key itself into components.json: that file is committed.

Add components#

bash
npx shadcn@latest add @ritla/phone-input

Dependencies between Ritla items are written as @ritla/<name>, so shadcn fetches them with the same header.
