R011: Untranslated interactive labels (buttons, nav/footer links, menu items, tabs)

People move through a site by its labels, so a button, tab or menu link left in English stops an Arabic reader at the step they were trying to take.

When it fires

high
On an Arabic page, the visible text of a link, button, summary, tab or menu item has no Arabic in it and at least one Latin word left once brand names, URLs and codes are set aside. Each label is its own finding, up to ten per page.
Fix: Translate the label, interactive text blocks task completion when unreadable.

What it leaves alone

Text hidden from screen readers with aria-hidden, code and pre blocks, anything under translate="no" or a non-Arabic lang, and text that mixes Arabic with Latin, which the direction checks cover. A brand name on its own, such as a logo link, is set aside before counting.

Brand names can stay in Latin letters; every other label on the list needs translating.
